Our Mission

To bring the highest level of quality, credibility and buyer security to the ergonomics marketplace by:

1. offering products that are carefully selected by qualified, experienced ergonomists, from quality manufacturers;

Ergobuyer® has served as the brand name for Ergoweb's buyers guide to the ergonomics market since 1998. (Ergoweb is our partner company, and has been serving the ergonomics industry since 1995). Historically, Ergobuyer was supported by advertisers and maintained as a service to the ergonomics marketplace. However, with a growing number of manufacturers promoting their products as "ergonomically designed", and a growing number of businesses and consumers getting confused, or worse, by such claims, Ergoweb realized that businesses and consumers needed more information and stronger protection from unfounded or dubious marketing claims.

Ergobuyer, LLC is the first and only ergonomically related product catalog of its kind. We will assist you in finding the optimal human centered product for your specific needs, while helping you avoid the fads, gimmicks - and outright frauds - along the way.

Founder: Peter Budnick, PhD, CPE
Dr. Budnick has served as President and CEO of Ergoweb, Inc. since 1995, and has been a leading force in Ergoweb and Ergobuyer since their inception in the early 1990s.

Immediately prior to Ergoweb, Peter held a Research Associate position, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Utah, and was a private consultant to industry for many years before that. He also holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Michigan Technological University. With over 23 years of experience in ergonomics, Peter is a widely recognized contributor to the field, and is a highly regarded publisher, author, speaker and entrepreneur.

Peter is a Full Member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), and was honored as the 2006 recipient of the Jack A. Kraft Innovator Award. He currently serves as the Chair of the HFES Media Relations Committee. Among his many professional activities, Dr. Budnick is past president of the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE), and serves on several International Ergonomics Association (IEA) committees.
